Our Lady of Solitude Sanctuary. The church is neoclassical style with two impossing towers.

The building house of Ramon Lopez Velarde museum, wich still preserves manuscrites and personal items of the poet. Jerez is the birthplace of Ramon Lopez Velarde, a poet whose best known works include La Suave Patria.

Hinojosa theater and City Halls are other buildings of great architectural value.

The Cardos Sierra, where camping, mountain, biking and hiking are some of the activities and offer if you’re a fan of outdoor pursuits.

Founded in the 16th century. Its name comes from the arabian word “Scherisch” that means “the place where there’s a lot of vegetables” and was named by the spanish conquereers beacause of the appearance of this place that was like the town of Jerez in Spain.
